FAQ

  • Why choose us To The Point Seminars for my Master Dry Needling for Acupuncturists (MDN-A) certification?

Because this certification was built by acupuncturists—for acupuncturists.
We know you’ve been doing dry needling all along—we’re not here to pretend otherwise. This program was created by someone who spent way too much money getting certified through systems that undervalued acupuncture training and ignored the power of ashi points.

At To The Point Seminars, we honor your existing expertise. You won’t be asked to unlearn acupuncture—you’ll learn how to leverage it to get the best clinical results, speak the language of dry needling, and confidently stand out in a crowded field of weekend-trained providers.

  • Will this certification help me market dry needling?

Absolutely. One of the core goals of the MDN-A certification is to give you the language, confidence, and legal clarity to promote dry needling as part of your acupuncture practice. You’ll walk away with marketing tools, clinical outcomes data, and the confidence to say “Yes, I do dry needling”—without second-guessing yourself.

  • Can I advertise that I do dry needling after this course?

Yes. This certification is specifically designed for acupuncturists who want to advertise dry needling without confusion, scope panic, or legal gray zones. We give you the framework to use correct terminology, align with your state’s scope, and promote yourself effectively without downplaying your acupuncture background. We’ll even equip you with some marketing strategies to level your practice above any PT out there.

  • I already know how to needle—what’s the point of getting certified?

Exactly. This isn’t about teaching you how to hold a needle—it’s about translating your acupuncture expertise into the dry needling world so you can dominate it. Certification gives you the tools to: speak confidently in orthopedic and outcome-based terms, use dry needling safely and legally under scrutiny and show patients and referral sources that you’re not just certified—you’re next level.

  • Is this course approved for CEUs?

We are currently pursuing CEU approval through NCCAOM and relevant state boards. As soon as approval is granted, you’ll be able to retroactively apply for CEUs if your state allows it. Stay tuned—our paperwork game is as sharp as our needling.

  • Do I need to take all courses to be certified?

No, you don’t need to take all courses.
Completing Dry Needling Foundations grants you the Master Dry Needling for Acupuncturists (MDN-A) Certification.

Each Foundations course stands on its own and offers immediately applicable clinical skills. You'll receive a certificate of completion for every course you take, starting with Foundation 1—which earns you the full MDN credential.

Additional Foundations courses will be released throughout the year, giving you the opportunity to deepen your training with advanced protocols, orthopedic testing, and more complex cases—but continuing on is completely optional.
